Socktober: Small Comfort, Big Impact

Each October, our annual sock drive, affectionately known as Socktober, supports local shelters by collecting new socks, one of their most requested yet least donated items.

Now in its fifth year, Socktober has become a valued Prescott tradition. In 2024, our community helped collect more than 3,000 pairs of socks. Each pair represented not just warmth, but dignity and care.

This year, we’re continuing our popular annual incentive! In partnership with the local nonprofit Coalition for Compassion and Justice (CCJ), donors will once again have the chance to win a Traeger Smoker—generously donated and fully administered by CCJ as the official sponsor.

Socktober offers a simple way to unite around a shared purpose and make a real difference.

Community All Year

Victory C.A.R.E.S. continues beyond October. From summer water drives to food bank support and emergency outreach, we stay active throughout the year. When our neighbors need support, we do our best to show up.
